The countdown to the 2012 JCC Maccabi Games® in Rockland begins!
VOLUNTEER!
In 2012, JCC Rockland will be hosting the JCC Maccabi Games® for the first time! From August 19–24, Jewish teenagers ages 12–16 will compete in 13 different sports, as well as participate in Jewish learning, social events and a JCC CaresTM community service project. The week-long event, which commences with Opening Ceremonies at West Point’s Michie Stadium, will include 1,800 teens from around the world—including 300 from Rockland. Hosting the JCC Maccabi Games® is a community-wide effort.
To ensure its success, we need:
300 athletes and coaches
to participate in team and individual sports.
650 host families
to house visiting athletes.
1,000 volunteers
to help plan the Games program and its many events.
